Vivian Holland is a creative writer, aspiring synthetic chemist, and wannabe jazz musician based in Brooklyn, New York. She is passionate about the marriage of science and art, as well as the relevance of metaphor and analogy to both, and is currently working on a novella about a chemist/ visual artist with plenty of references to Van Gogh & thermodynamics. Vivian attended NYU’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study as an undergraduate and highly recommends The Jazz of Physics by Stephen Alexander.
